Water filtration system

Water filtration and conditioning systems are great when they are functioning properly. They remove hard water deposits and condition your water for a great experience at the faucet. Sometimes however they break down and end up causing more problems than solutions. In that case there is usually an easy solution to bypass the water system by simply closing down the bypass valve at the inlet/outlet manifold. As was the case with this Fallbrook ranch home. The home owner decided the unit wasn't worth servicing anymore and asked if I could remove the unit. He was very happy to hear that all I had to do was turn a ball valve and we could bypass the whole system! Sure I could have just torn the whole water filtration unit out and reattached the plumbing and made more money but I would rather make a friend and a long term client than a quick buck any day of the week!
