Laminate flooring

We are getting very close to finishing up or kitchen remodel! We installed some gorgeous laminate flooring recently. This flooring is on the cheap at around $1.75 per ft. You also need to purchase an underlayment which costs anywhere from .50-1.50 per ft. These are called floating floors because the laminate sits on top of the foam underlayment and floats essentially. This creates a nice feeling floor as you walk on them. Laminates are very strong, resist stains and clean up very easily. Laminate flooring is becoming more and more popular and you can even find it installed on ceilings and walls these days!
